My name is Jessica and I'm an OCD 27 year old wife and mom still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. My husband, Adam, on the other hand, has it all together and will be attending grad school in the fall - hence our upcoming move to North Carolina from Mississippi. We have one daughter named Maggie Claire and, besides God, she is truly the light of our life.
My life has been a whirl wind the last few years to say the least. Adam and I met in college (you can read all about the "fairy tale" story of us here) and were married in June 2008. We found out in the beginning of 2009 that he was going to be deployed for the 4th time to Iraq - and that we were pregnant. I moved home to live with my parents for the year and when Adam returned, we moved back to Mississippi for him to finish school. We are now packing up and moving to North Carolina where life is bound to get even more interesting....
I adore blogging and ever since living life with my husband and baby daddy in a war zone, I've found it especially therapudic. I am obsessed with the beach and have often considered buying a ridiculously gigantic sandbox and blow up pool "for Maggie Claire". My husband is my best friend and has encouraged and motivated me every day to be a better person and a better Christain. Our life is a rollercoaster so I try to find the humor in each situation. I'm anxious to see the rest of the journey God has before us and thankful I get to be on it with Adam and Maggie Claire!
